1. Personal Transformation and God-Given Purpose This verse is the core of LRM’s vision to be a "transforming community" that empowers individuals to realize their "God-given purpose." Romans 12:2 (NKJV) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” 2. Reflecting Christ's Unconditional Love This command from Jesus underpins the vision to "reflect Christ's unconditional love." John 13:34-35 (KJV) “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” 3. Igniting Spiritual and Social Renewal Known as the Great Commission, this scripture directly connects with the call to "collaboratively ignite spiritual and social renewal across the world." Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
